K-State Supporter

Ford has added to the Mustang stable with the all-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E. Ford revealed this new SUV on November 17th and immediately opened up the reservations on their website. The Mach-E doesn’t replace the iconic Ford Mustang but adds an all electric high performance SUV to option to the model. This will be perfect for that family who wants to drive the Ford Mustang but also need cargo room, higher entry floor, and allow for better fuel economy. Ford estimates on performance are pretty impressive with 0-60 in the mid 3s. Mileage range pushes past Tesla as well with up to 300 miles with the extended range battery.

Features like Co-Pilot 360, big 15″ touch screen, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad add to the seamless technology available in the Mach-E.

Ford has opened the reservations on 5 trims for the 2021 Mustang Mach-E, First Edition, Select, Premium, California Route 1, and GT.

The First Edition will be limited in units available and will be the first to be ordered with a price starting at $59,900 and only available in AWD.

The Select trim will be the cheapest of the trims starting at $43,895, it will be available in AWD or RWD and have a standard battery with range up to 230 miles.

The Premium trim will be available earlier than the others and right along with the first editions starting at $50,600, available in AWD or RWD and either the standard battery or the extended battery getting you 300 miles range.

The California Route 1 trim will be available in RWD only and will come with the extended battery starting at $52,400.

The GT is the trim that will get you the fast 0-60 time in the mid 3s and will available in AWD only and will come with the extended battery and starts at $60,500.

The Ford Ranger Raptor is not available in the United States. Currently it is only available in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia-Pacific, and the U.K., very disappointing for residents of the United States. Ford has been trying to fit the 2.7L Ecoboost into the new 2019 Ford Ranger being able to create a superior off road truck like the Ford Raptor compared to the stock Ford F-150s.

The current Ford Ranger Raptor comes with a 2.0L Diesel engine with 250 horsepower, not what we would call superior power. The U.S. Ford Ranger comes with a 2.3L Ecoboost engine having 300 horsepower, more horsepower than any other truck in it’s class.

Long McArthur Ford has come up with a off road package they call the Ford Ranger Baja which we hope will be similar to what Ford may bring to the Ford lineup in the future. The Baja package starts with a SuperCrew 4X4 XLT 302A equipment group with sport package. Factory optional equipment on these includes the FX4 Off Road Package and Tow Package. The FX4 Off Road Package includes the Terrain Management System and Trail Control which is shared with the Ford Raptor.

Then Long McArthur had the a 2″ Pro-Comp Front Suspension Lift and Fox 2.0 Rear Shock Upgrade to give an exceptional off road capability. They also add Bushwacker Fender Flares painted to match the sport bumpers. Added Fuel Tactic 18″ Magnetic painted Beadlock Wheels and 33″ Toyo All-Terrain Tires.

They also added some exterior accents that give it a Ford Ranger Raptor look, Front “FORD” Grille, black running boards, Addictive Desert Design Chase Rack, and “Ranger Baja” Graphics.

If you are looking for an off road Ford Ranger then you should look at their video walk-around for more details on the Baja Package. They have a Black, Gray, and White in stock with 3 more coming soon. Check out their inventory at www.long-mcarthur.com.
